PROJECT OF THE MONTH: Done Information renewed the visual look and web pages of Prakticum.
In the spring of 2009, Done Information renewed the visual look and web pages of Prakticum. In a project implemented to a tight schedule, Done Information efficiently and cost-effectively provided Prakticum with a high-end package ideally suited to its communications activities.
Prakticum improved its public image by completely revamping its visual image.
"We wanted to attract more applicants by improving our image and presenting ourselves as a forerunner in education," describes Benjamin Packalén, Director of Adult Education at Prakticum and in charge of the project.
The project was begun by analysing the current situation and mapping out objectives. Prakticum is a modern education organisation that reacts rapidly to the changing educational needs of young people and adults. It operates in both Swedish and Finnish in Helsinki and Porvoo.
Prakticum offers education across many sectors. Done Information designed a colour and symbol for each department, giving each sector its own identity while also embedding them firmly within Prakticum.
The design of Prakticum's visual identity included an update of the logo, the creation of the abovementioned education sector symbols, alongside colour and font definitions and business card, A4 template and envelope design.
"In the future, we will continue our cooperation with Done Information and commission more material with our new look. For example, a newspaper and PowerPoint template would certainly come in useful," continues Packalén.
The web pages will be used to communicate current issues, while educational sectors can use them to post information on their own events. The publication system is quick and easy to use.
The content plan for the web pages was drawn up in cooperation with Prakticum, with Done Information in charge of the design and technical implementation.
